VBS @ Riverland Hills

Madden went to Bible School at Riverland Hills. The theme was Big Apple Adventure. All the background was New York City. It was very cool!

Hilton Head Island 2011

It was time for our annual trip with Mom and Dad to Hilton Head June 19-26. We had so much fun. It was fun playing with Madden, swimming, watching him explore and do so many things that he hasn't done before. He has grown and changed so much!

Madden's End-of-the-Year Program

Madden had his end-of-the-year program on May 20th at HE Corley. He was Wee Willie Winkie!!! He had the only speaking part in the program. He ran through the "town" in his nightgown, up the stairs, down the stairs, knocking on the doors, and cries, "Are the children in their beds it's past nine o'clock?" He did so good!!!!!!! The class sang songs, did nursery rhymes, and performed books, and Madden was number 90 in the class counting by 1's to 100! What a treat!

I also added Madden and some of his friends from class and his teachers!

Sophie's graduation weekend

Sophie graduated with her masters in social work from UNC in Chapel Hill on May 7.

Madden's first field trip

Ichaperoned Madden's first field trip to Riverbanks Zoo. We had fun with his classmates, Reginald and Daniel.

Soccer Trophy Night at Cici's

Madden had his last soccer game on May 5th and was given a trophy afterwards at Cici's Pizza. The man in the grey shirt is Coach Tyler. Madden really enjoyed him as a coach.
