Weekend at Myrtle Beach Jan 14- 16

We went to Myrtle Beach for Madden's birthday wish (we planned to go in November but he was sick on the weekend we were going so we rescheduled!). We stayed at the Landmark Hotel which has one of the largest indoor water areas at the beach. There were 3 kid pools, 1 HUGE deep pool, a lazy river and lots of hot tubs! We went to Ripley's Aquarium and "beach shopping" at Wings. We slept, swam, ate and even went to the outlet mall! What a great weekend!

SNOW DAY!! (again!)

It has snowed again! We are so excited! Geeky and Ga Ga gave Madden a round saucer sled and he rode it over and over down the driveway! So far we have missed 2 days of school! Will it be 3??

SNOW DAY!!!

We got snow on the day after Christmas. Madden built a snowman with Adrienne's help! He wanted to knock it over from the moment she started but he was kind enough to wait until we got a picture!

Madden even wrote his name in the snow!

Christmas 2010

On Christmas Eve we went to Mom and Dad's house. Madden had SO many presents to open and got so much great stuff. He had a great time opening presents, running into Mom and Dad's room, rolling around on the floor, and then coming back for more! What a hoot!

On Christmas Morning, Santa brought him everything he wanted and "things he didn't want." Then we went to visit Dolly and Granddaddy. Madden got to visit with Violet, "his most favorite baby." It was wonderful to see my cousins, visit with everyone and be together.

Bailey Manor Christmas Trees in Clinton, SC 2010

Madden and I went to Clinton, SC to see the Christmas tree display at Bailey Manor with Leanne and Sara Beth. We had so much fun walking around looking at the different trees, reading about them and then deciding which ones we liked the best!

Trying to get a Christmas Picture

Madden was posing on the porch and with the Santa from the Polar Express. He was laughing so hard that I was hardly able to get a picture that we liked for a Christmas card. Although we got a LOT of great pictures of him just being him!

Picture at Mom's House

Mom wanted a picture while Nick and Sophie were here for Madden's birthday weekend. So we climbed into Madden's treehouse and swings for a picture! Isn't that just precious?
