Madden on Playground

Madden loves to play outside! Today is wasn't too hot in the morning so we went on a walk and went to the ship playground. He had a good time and is getting much more confident with his climbing skills. I know one picture is of him upside down...he took it of himself...upside down. :> I couldn't resist adding it!

Madden's First Day of School

Madden had his first day of school on Thursday, September 2nd! He was so excited. His teacher is Ms. Berger and Ms. Harris. We are so lucky that he is going to Geeky's school, he gets to ride to school with her every morning and she is there to "check on him" during the day! He already has many friends and feels right at home. Here are some pictures of his first day.

Nick and Sophie July 2010

Sophie's mom, Lois, and stepfather, Barry, threw her and Nick a little party in Raleigh. It was so fun getting to meet her other sisters and spend some time with them.

Summer of Fun with Nick and Sophie

We went to visit with Nick and Sophie in July. Madden had so much fun climbing rocks, playing with Nick and Sophie and exploring the new land. He even picked fresh blackberries!

State Museum

Today we went to see the Pirates, Privateers and Bucaneers exhibit at the State Museum. It is really neat! The exhibit has replica pirate ships, scenes from pirate life, a computer to create your own pirate flag, a cannon to shot passing ships, many scrolls with pirate information and they were even showing pirate movies all day (while we were there The Princess Bride was own). Of course we enjoyed the rest of the museum as well. Madden really enjoys the SC habitat scenes, the scientific exploration area and ... well I love to take his picture any where I can! Madden practiced taking a few pictures...I hope you enjoy those as well.

Hilton Head Island 2010

We went to Hilton Head Island with Geeky and Gaga. Madden had a great time in the pool. He made a new friend named Brendan that we played with every day. They had a ball!

Saluda Shoals Splash Park

We went to Saluda Shoals Splash Park on Saturday. Madden was a little apprehensive at first about the water but soon was soaking wet!
